Legal

Acceptable Use

Private proofs, public rules. Use ProveX as a settlement engine — not as a way around the law.

Effective 26 August 2026

Purpose

ProveX is a private P2P settlement rail. Privacy is not a license to harm. This Acceptable Use Policy states what you may not do with the ProveXAgent Interface or with agents you deploy against ProveX.

The protocol cannot see the witness inside a well-formed proof. That is why these rules bind you, the operator — not the verifier.

Intended use

  • Lawful P2P fiat-to-crypto and crypto-to-fiat settlement via ProveX escrow.
  • Scoped, non-custodial agent strategies (on-ramp, off-ramp, recurring, vertical templates).
  • Research, simulation, and education on the demonstration paths clearly labeled as such.

Prohibited

You may not

  • Use the Interface to launder proceeds of crime, to evade sanctions, or to finance abuse.
  • Attempt to make an agent take custody, exfiltrate keys, or skip ZK verification.
  • Replay, forge, or mutilate proofs, nonces, or chain-id bindings.
  • Attack the circuit breaker, rate limiter, or other users’ agents.
  • Misrepresent a simulated receipt as a PulseChain transaction.
  • Spam matching, grief dust settlements, or weaponize template agents against counterparties.
  • Scrape, overload, or reverse infrastructure except as allowed by law for security research disclosed in good faith.

Enforcement

We may pause the Interface, open the circuit breaker, disconnect a template, or refuse service. On-chain ProveX escrow is governed by contracts, not by this page; we cannot quietly reverse a verified release. Unlawful conduct may be referred to authorities where we are compelled or where it is necessary to protect the rail.
